We have moved our meetings to The South Hills School of Business and Technology.

We are using the South Hill Business School food service to provide our meals. We have meals only when SHSBT is in session. Meals are $18.00 a meeting. Please call or txt Kathryn Mackes, 814-592-5385, to reserve a meal or to check to see if a meal is being served at this meeting.

Sept 26 - Grants given to Child Care facilities
We gave grants to Kinder Care, St College Friends S school, Child Space, The Goddard School, Kid's Court, Grace Lutheran Pre School, Easter Seals and C.S. Child Development. The awards were presented by Kathryn Mackes, on the right. Tracey Weaver, our speaker for the meeting is the Outreach and Communications Coordinator, she is standing on the left. Our Blueberry Sale provided the funds for this event.

TWENTY ONE DAY CARE CENTERS received grants from our club to assist their programs. The funds for these grants were gained through our
Blueberry Sale.

The Annual DAY OF CARING in Centre County and our club participated by helping to clean up the landscaping at a SKILLS Group Home. Club member, Eric Runz, coordinator of the Skills group homes managed our work.
The Aktion Club at their holiday party.
The Aktion Club is a project oriented group. One of their favorite charities is Nittany Greyhounds. They create dog toys and threats for them. They also like to hold bake sales. They keep a yearly scrapbook of their activities and are frequent winners at Kiwanis Conventions.
